Flutes, Terminal 2 Dublin Airport, Dublin, Ireland

Our favorite place to eat before a flight at Dublin Airport is Flutes. It's located in Terminal 2 and a small place.

We had so far always breakfast at Flutes due to our flight times. Later in the day there are sandwiches, tapas and other meat/cheese plates as well as wine and champagne flights available.

The decor is modern, light and thanks to the location very airy.  The heart of the restaurant is the bar island with high chairs. Customers can also choose to sit at tables surrounding the island in a half oval.

To order customers have to go to the island. The member of staff is then delivering the order to the table and when you are finished you return to the island to pay. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Staff also clears the tables.

During our last visit we had 2 cappuccinos, one Continental Platter, consisting of ham, brie and Gubbeen cheese, a small fruit salad and natural yogurt, a croissant and jam. It also includes a glass of orange juice, so we had to pay only for the second one. We ordered additionally toast and the crunchy granola with Boyne Valley honey.

On this occasion we paid 25.30 Euro (ca. 33.15 USD)

We like Flutes because it offers always high quality, healthy and tasty food. Service is quick and friendly.

Space is a bit limited due to the small size of the tables. In my opinion this is the only inconvenience.
