Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort

During our holiday in Fuerteventura we visited the Sheraton twice.

Once we went for drinks to the Piano Lobby Bar and once to La Veranda, the all-day dining poolside restaurant.

The hotel has a mix of Canarian and international style architecture.

The bar offers a terrace overlooking the garden on the outside and also a chance to admire the stained glass dome and small atrium with staircase and plants on the inside.

It’s also a place to see and be seen.

The drinks, a bottle of still Solan de Cabras water, a peach and an orange juice were quickly served as soon as we got the attention of the bar tender. With the drinks came nuts and olives. All was good and enjoyable.

The bill was 11.24 Euro, ca. 12.80 USD.

Afterwards we explored the hotel a bit and were impressed by the public spaces and the beautiful carpets and chandeliers.

On another day we had lunch at La Veranda near the pool.

The setting was upscale, but relaxed. There were families with small children and couples.

Our waiters were friendly and attentive.

We ordered a bottle of still Aquavia, two sangrias, two Gazpachos, one Sheraton Salad and one Pizza Iberica.

We were served a bread basket to go with our soup, which came with fresh vegetables (onions and peppers) as condiments.

The salad included avocado, white asparagus, olives, tuna, sweet corn, onions, green leaves and roasted vegetables.

The pizza was topped with chorizo and olives.

All was of very high standard and we enjoyed the food and the setting.

The bill came in at 55.64 Euro (ca. 63.30 USD).

Having now explored the Sheraton a bit more, we realized that we would love to stay at this property at some stage in our future.
