Cocktail Interlude

My fiancé is very passionate about the traditional cocktail hour. After buying a few ingredients EW got started with his own creation. The cocktail is inspired by the Hyatt Regency Tokyo, where you can enjoy Kahlua Milk. In this case the alcohol wasn't the main component. We thought the cocktail was so nice, we want to share it with you. This is for two people. Cheers!

Amarula Milk

Material:
Shaker
Strainer, if it's not included in the shaker
Martini glasses

Ingredients:
3 measures Amarula
6 measures milk (in our case half fat milk, but you can choose whatever you like)
optional ice cubes or crushed ice

Decorations: (optional)
2 Maraschino Cherries
or
2 fresh strawberries

Preparation:
Put the ingredients into the shaker, starting with the Amarula.

Shake for ca. 30 seconds.

Strain into the Martini glasses.

If you use the ice, add it before the cocktail.

Decorate with the Maraschino Cherry by placing it on top of the drink or the strawberry on the rim of the glass.

Enjoy!
